A tale of Corsican pirates… and a sunken treasure
Escape Carotte is not a simple session of puzzles in an ordinary room. The scenario is rooted in the history and geography of Corsica: you set off in search of the legendary treasure of Captain Dragut, a famous corsair who, so the story goes, went down off Girolata — only a few nautical miles from Porto.
Your mission: decipher the clues he left behind, survive the traps of his prison, cross his makeshift raft and get into the underground cave where the treasure lies hidden. All in 60 minutes.
The largest escape room in Corsica
At 55 m², Escape Carotte lays claim to the title of largest escape room on the island. The space is divided into several themed environments that you pass through as the adventure unfolds:
- The prison: the starting point. You are locked in and have to work out how to get out. The first puzzles ease you in.
- The makeshift raft: unsteady footing, objects to handle, a thoroughly maritime atmosphere. A remarkable set.
- The underground cave with its waterfall: the centrepiece. The water really runs, the lighting has been carefully worked, and the mood is striking. This is where the treasure waits for the most persistent.
The puzzles combine searching, handling and thinking — there is something for every kind of player. You do not need to be a crossword genius to make progress: the key is communication and working together.

Escape Carotte takes 2 to 6 players per session, with several difficulty levels that can be adapted to your group. It is particularly popular with:
