Since we took over Hôtel Le Vaïta, we have been keen to build solid links with the people who keep tourism alive in Corsica. Among them, one name stands out naturally: Ollandini Voyages, a historic name in travel on the island for close to a century.
A firm that knows Corsica like no other
Founded by the Ollandini family, the group has been guiding travellers around Corsica since the 1930s — first as a coach operator, then building up complete expertise over the decades: escorted tours, tailor-made trips, hotels, car hire. To this day their advisers live in Corsica and know every corner of the island, from Cap Corse to the far south.
It is precisely that fine-grained knowledge of the territory, and that insistence on quality, that makes us want to build something together. We already had a taste of it with our first Ollandini group, welcomed last spring.
Where do things stand?
We are currently in discussion with their teams to explore ways of working hand in hand — whether for groups or for individual stays at Le Vaïta. Nothing is settled yet, but the intention is there on both sides: to offer their travellers a genuine stop in Porto, in a hotel where welcoming people is still a family affair.
